YAMU LIFESTYLE RESORT – INDEMNITY & WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I, the undersigned guest of Yamu Lifestyle Resort, located at the Clanwilliam Dam in the Cederberg region, hereby waive any and all claims of any nature – whether arising from negligence or otherwise – against the owners, directors, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, or any party directly or indirectly involved in the management or operation of this establishment.

I acknowledge that:

• The resort is situated in a natural environment where encounters with wildlife, both diurnal and nocturnal, may occur. I accept that such interactions carry inherent risks and enter the property fully at my own risk.

• I am provided with access to an electric e-cart for exploring the 120-hectare estate. I understand that I am responsible for operating the vehicle safely and that I assume full liability for any damage, accident, injury, or total loss resulting from its use, whether to myself, other persons, or property.

• The use of all resort facilities, services, and equipment is undertaken at my own risk.

• The resort, its owners and affiliates, are not liable for any injury, loss of life, damage, or loss of property that I or any of my accompanying family members, guests, or invitees may suffer, regardless of whether such loss or damage arises from any act or omission by the resort or its representatives.

Furthermore, in the event of a premature departure, I accept full responsibility for the total cost of the reserved accommodation as per the booking agreement.

I hereby confirm that I have read, understood, and accept the above terms and conditions, and that I am legally bound by this indemnity.
