TERMS & CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS OF
BOOKING WITH CARE
The contractual partners are Droombos and the
undersigning guest. If a third party undertakes the booking for the
undersigning guest, both will be liable as joined debtors to Droombos.
Sub-contracting and/or sub-letting of Droombos property is strictly always
prohibited. By signing this document, you are hereby accepting all Terms &
Conditions and confirm that the information specified in this document is true
and updated to your knowledge.
Room rates
Room charges are charges according to room occupancy
and kids ages and all occupants must provide valid Identity documents upon
check-in. Lunch and dinner are available at an additional charge. Any Dietary
requirement must be communicated to Reservations/Reception.
Booking Confirmation & Deposit
Full payment is required on arrival. Additional payments are required on check-out
and paid in full.
Credit Card details are authorized to be used
to charge all incidentals and outstanding room charges not settled upon
departure Droombos banking details.
Cancellation of booking
By making your booking, you agree to all terms
and conditions as set out. Should your travel arrangements change, you should
inform us as soon as possible to allow us to re-allocate the room(s) to a new
alternative date. Any cancellations will be subject to our booking policy as
explained in the next clause.
Booking Policy
Provisional reservations are cancelled after
48 hours of booking if not confirmed with 50% deposit. Our cancellation fees on
confirmed bookings are as follow: Within 4 weeks – 25% / Within 3 weeks –
50% / Within 2 weeks – 75% / Within 1 week – 100%
Bookings on Special Rates can be re-booked,
subject to new rates applicable to new seasonal booking rates.
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your stay if your
accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however
attempt to find you alternative accommodation. If we were unable to find
suitable accommodation our liability would not extend beyond this point.
Acceptance of Children
We welcome all children. We can accommodate
young babies by prior arrangement and free of charge, a highchair, and a travel
cot. The beds and cot are subject to availability. Soiled and stained linen or
material will be replaced, and the guest will be obligated to pay the exstra
charges. Any children are the sole responsibility of the parents. Droombos are
situated in the nature and the kids cannot be left without parental
supervision. Kids are not allowed to climb trees, harvest any fruit or
vegetables, or play in the flower beds.
Arrival
Check-In is allowed from 14H00 unless otherwise arranged.
The minimum age for check-in is 18 years.
Early Check-In Procedure
Early Check-In is available on request at an
additional cost. Please notify us in advance of your estimated time of arrival.
On check-in you will need to submit your passport or identification document
and credit card that you will be paying with for the stay and all related
costs.
Late Arrival Procedure
Kindly notify us if you will be arriving later
than 17H00, along with your expected time of arrival. If you will arrive after
22H00, please notify reception in advance. The key to your room can be left at
the security gate, as reception will be closing at 22H00.
Check-out Times
We respectfully remind guests that Droombos
check-out time is 10H00 unless otherwise arranged.
Late check-out is possible, but subject to
availability and charged at an extra 70% of the room's rate.
Rooms

No food and drinks allowed from outside our
establishment.
Please refrain from eating
on/in the beds.

Guests of Droombos visitors are not permitted
in the rooms,
but you are more than welcome to invite outside guests to visit you in the
Birdcage Restaurant or Rosewood Pub. Rooms booked and paid on single rate,
found to be double occupied, will be charged a Spot Fine of N$3,500-00 payable
at reception. In other words, if friends of guests spend the night in a
room that was not arranged, and for which no payment was made.

No loud music, screaming and shouting are
permitted in rooms or any public areas.
No Boom Boxes or private
speakers are permitted to be played on the premises or in the rooms. A fine
of N$5000 will be imposed on Noise Pollution by any guest. The fine must be
paid on the presentation of an invoice from Droombos. In cases where guests
fail to comply, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the client’s stay at
the hotel and report the incident to law enforcement authorities.

All special request rooms are available
subject to availability.
Smoking
In accordance with the Namibia Law there is a
no smoking policy in all under roof area, please use designated areas only. The
rooms are equipped with a smoking alarm. If activated we have the right to
vacate you from the premises and forfeit monies paid, this is non-negotiable.
Damages, Breakages & Strains
You are responsible and liable for any
breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation and the contents
thereof. We ask that you report any
incident of this nature. Any heavily strains on any material in the room,
Droombos will replace the item and the guest will be charged extra accordingly
and the bill must be settled on presentation of an invoice. This will include
but not limited to wine strains, vomit, foods strains.
Liability
We do not accept liability for any damage,
loss, or injury to any member of your party, any vehicles, or possessions.
Droombos will not be held responsible for any claims for loss or damage to
property, personal injury, or any loss of life, howsoever caused, including but
not limited to gross negligence.
Privacy Policy
Any data collected during this booking will be
stored on our computer(s). With your permission we may from time to time
contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with
any third party.
Wi-Fi
Where Wi-Fi internet access is provided,
guests accept to use this access to the internet fairly and appropriately. We
may monitor network performance and user usage to maintain a fair and high
level of service for all our guests. The Internet access provided is intended
for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social
media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally
suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads.
Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is
strictly prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.
Pet Policy
No pets are allowed.
Payment
We accept Visa and Mastercard. All credit card
transactions are secure, and no data collected is offered to third parties for
any reason. All transactions comply with the relevant legal requirements at the
time of the transaction. Ensure the Reservation number is included in the
Reference.
